Close to 10am. Still wondering whether this mornings dust needs to settle before moving on. Hanging up dialing in hanging up again, cycling through participants and topics to sync everything for the new week. (Project penalties caused by communication overhead. And by random solution complexity overhead, too.)

(Sometimes things are about digging deep into new technology to find new ways for achieving better results. And sometimes it's all about astoundedly watching the from-scratch-reimplementation of things that have been solved at large several times before just because some involved components seem to fail do their job right. Head shaking. Beard scratching. Shrugging. Having another coffe, 8am and on.)

Sun peeking through clouds. Dirty reflections on windowblinds. Opposite office workers welcoming customers in the meeting room, dress code and gestures suggest facing a rather tough round to start. (Also: The joys of replacing cryptographic information across complex systems. Once in a while, it helps seeing which parts can break due to this, and how. 10am and on, day's still slowly waking.)

10am and on. Construction time again. Outside as well as inside, and even the latter on multiple levels. Sometimes, huge shards of misbehaving components fall through many layers completely unnoticed. Sometimes, even small fragments cause interesting, persisting issues. (The difficult kind of "interesting", to be added.)

Strolling through shady corners of the systems again. Cobwebs and thorny bushes all over. Fingers not yet bleeding very much but it does need fairly good boots. And an odd kind of courageous dedication. 9am, and the effects of coffee wearing off way too soon today.
