Throwback July 29, 2015. Berlin Subway. Apparently travelling for fun not profit back then; I can't remember any single day to use public transports over there on a business trip. And, too, somehow Berlin lost some of its inspiration in the years since then... .

An empty Berlin subway station. Three pillars of steel in a green and white scenery. Wall with a closed store behind. Green tiles covering the walls. Some industrial style seats and tables in front.

Ages ago. July 15, 2019. Pre-pandemic travel memories. Last trip to Campania by now. Still this place has a strange kind of attraction, the long car trip down there included. // 📷 throwback

Gulf of Salerno seen from Monte San Constanzo, a bright blue mediterranean sea under a bright blue sky bearing some white clouds. And a dry plant in the foreground. Warm colours.

Throwback May 29, 2007. More quiet images from that particular age. Originally on Flickr and still out there I guess, despite not really using that very platform anymore. Still, reminded of certain styles of music, certain conversations, certain contacts that seem to have remained there or vanished altogether. The web as an increasingly ephemeral environment.

Architectural features taken from below, concrete heavily processed into a white-greenish halo.

Throwback April 12, 2012. Stories of old. The kind of art to emerge in buildings left behind, partially reclaimed by nature, partially still keeping that old coat of decoration and paint meant for their very own purposes, once. (On Instagram, years earlier.)

An old wall covered by ivy and remainders of paint in light blue and red.

Throwbach March 22, 2007. Scenes from imaginary movies after listening to certain kinds of music. These days it's hard to get back to this kind of visuals, for whichever reasons. Maybe it's also something that used to have its time. Originally posted on Flickr.
