10am and on. Swapped coffee for water, in an attempt to stay more hydrated. Sometimes, just knowing about bad habits doesn't help all that much. Too: Chores, cake, still dealing with the aftermath of a late night and the warmth rising in this day again. Slowly moving forth.

9pm and slowing down. Resisting an urge to fall back into usual evening habits, at least for some of them. There's a kind of party between here and the river banks, invisible but noisy and there's an overwhelming load of summer in this. Watching candles flicker in the wind, on balconies across the road, and some youngsters spending the hours on that terrace, in front of laptop displays. The different means of joining any conversation.

Closing in on 11am. Slow motion, empty lists, grey skies but no rain so far. Listening to neighbours returning from church, and to those who woke up late and still tired. Calm sundays.
