Through the darkness again. At some point fog turned to rain again and then disappeared. Still, a few small streams of water run down concrete lanes that turn to loose stones and finally dirt and mud up there where forests separate village from the vast realm of stones and snow. Emptying todays drinks. Gazing into the valley, no real sense of orientation beyond what's offered by the few streetlights. Accepting being small in here, as an ongoing yet familiar challenge. Have a quiet night wherever you are!

Closing in on 6pm. Narrow roads, steep curves, crowded busses. Small creeks raging through valleys, foaming and falling from steps down to the river. In and out of fog and clouds. Veiled horizons, a vague proximity in between.

10am and indecisive. About to move on but day's not too inviting and nothing like a warm room and a pot of coffee. Pondering bus routes and ticket fares. Resisting the call of the mountains for now.

10pm, steamy bathroom windows, a distant street just a line of lights surrounded by halos in hazy rain. Water dripping, drumming on metal roofs, no wind but the scent of woods and meadows even stronger than during the rest of the day. Always just a thin line between wake perception and confusing dreams. Not sure whether darkness has a different shape in other parts of the world. Have a quiet night wherever you are!
